CGI Greece partners with the Perry World House, University of Pennsylvania

We are thrilled to announce an academic partnership with Perry World House at the University of Pennsylvania. This exciting collaboration brings together a multidisciplinary team of Student Fellows and our Founding Member companies in a yearlong research project focused on developing a practical and strategic business case for climate action. The project will emphasize the economic and growth benefits of climate action for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) while offering valuable insights for policymakers and larger companies alike.

Throughout the year, the Student Fellows will explore the financial and operational implications of climate compliance and examine how SMEs can leverage climate action to drive sustainable growth, enhance cost efficiency, and build long-term resilience. The project will also analyze the risks for businesses that delay climate action, highlighting the potential impacts such as diminished market relevance, restricted contract opportunities, and slower growth. Additionally, by reviewing successful climate mobilization models from various regions and sectors, the team aims to identify actionable strategies that can be applied by relevant stakeholders.

The outcome of this partnership will be a curated set of best practices to support SMEs in starting or expanding their climate action efforts, tailored to the needs of government policymakers, SMEs, and large companies.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Perry World House community for making this collaboration possible.
