As part of the Climate Governance Initiative’s 34-chapter global network, CGI Greece took part in the first international CGI gathering, exchanging insights on how boards can drive resilience, sustainability, and long-term value creation.
Climate Governance Initiative Greece was proud to participate in the first global Climate Governance Initiative gathering at the ChangeNOW Board event in Paris (April 23–25, 2025). The gathering brought together board members and leaders from more than 20 countries to share concrete actions, exchange insights, and reinforce our common commitment to sustainability and long-term business resilience.
This milestone event highlighted the strength of the Climate Governance Initiative’s global network of 34 chapters worldwide, of which CGI Greece is an active part. By working across borders, the network empowers boards to embed climate considerations into corporate governance and to support companies in navigating today’s fast-changing environment.
Among the highlights was an inspiring conversation with Paul Polman, who called on business leaders to protect nature and act in the long-term interests of both companies and society. Across the sessions, discussions focused on how resilient companies — guided by strong climate governance and long-term value creation — can stay on track and lead through uncertainty, even in the face of geopolitical and market risks.
As part of this global network, CGI Greece remains committed to advancing governance innovation, resilience, and positive impact — both in Greece and internationally.
